Kayders has officially been to the zoo! =D We went last Sunday. She was in a bit of a grumpy mood (tired), thus the kind of grumpy faces and constant sucky in her mouth ... but she enjoyed walking around in the stroller, outside, more than anything else that day! We were thinking she would fall asleep while we walked but no such luck, so she just watched and hung out. But she had a couple of good happy baby moments! =D
Dominic HATES to ask people to take pictures of all of us (and I will die without them) so we've resorted to taking many self portraits lol. This was taken at the last second, as Kayden got extra grumpy and the camera was dyyying (which I try to never let happen!) But we got one, =D so I am a happy camper!!!

The polar bear is probably my favorite thing to take pictures of! I think he looks so cool in any season, trees dead or green!
I love this picture! It may not be the best picture to all you photo experts out there. But I love it. I love that the bottom is a hippo, and then the city of Albuquerque, and then the trees! =) Dominic was saying, oh psh, wait until it's summer it will be so pretty! Buuut ... I don't think you'll be able to see the city through the trees the same. We'll see, I'm sure we'll be back there this summer ;-).

And these were from last Monday. (This is what she is doing RIGHT now. Daddy is sleepin and she's about to go back down for a nap.) She is so sticking cute. Each morning we wake up, do all the necessaries (diapers, bottles etc ;-) ) and then play. We plaaaaay. (We do this all still in our jammies of course ;-) ) And then she watches her morning shows -- ALWAYS Mickey Mouse Playhouse. And usually Handy Manny (the tool guy =p) and Agent Oso Special (the special agent that solves any mystery of a task a tiny tot can't figure out how to do ... hop, fold a towel, set out the table settings, etc). So that is that. She loves her morning shows. But the cutest part is how she does it. She sits on the floor with her little sucky and her basket of toys. She gets realllllly into it, but once in awhile she look back at me and smile. =D
She loves to put her sucky in all by herself now! My baby is getting so big!
She holds onto it like this almost the whole time, and tips it towards her, lets it go back up, tips it towards her, lets it go back up.
Alrighty. Sorry I've been such a slacker. There's the picture update from last weekend =p. Hopefully I'll post this weekend more quickly! She is such a riot these days. Last night K & D were daaaancing and she was cracking up! Like uncontrollably!! She's too funny! She loves any and all dogs. Whenever we go to someone's house with pups, she just stares and stares and wants them to come play with her and lick her to death like she is used to lol. She loves to "talk" and take her sucky out, put it in, take it out, put it in. She will rarely rest her head down on my anymore, she likes to fight it, especially when she's tired and she knows its almost nap time. But once in awhile she'll be so pooped and she will do it, and it is the most precious thing everrr! I miss those days of when she would always cuddle! I simply cannot believe that her 1 year birthday is in 5 months and 3 weeks! Ahhh that seems so soon! Crazy chickadee slow down your growing!!
Our mini update: (This is mostly just for me to remember things, so I'm sorry if you think we are boring to read about lol) Dominic is playing football again, so I'm sure there will be many pictures of that to come. I think I posted some of us watching the other week - from the car ;-p it was freezing though! I have been happily and gladly super busy with KG so that has been taking up a lot of my "spare" time. We're still trying to work on the house (the bathrooms and backyard mostly) but it is very hard! I finally got our first family picture framed and up on our living room wall this week! =D (This is a huge deal because 1. D hates to put holes in the wall so I've finally convinced him that we've gotta have family pictures up, and we're not going to regret putting it up because of a little whole. I think he is getting there =). And 2. It is so hard to find the time/motivation to actually get stuff done around here ... she's napping, no hammering, etc. But we got it!! I must admit though, I thought I had this great plan of using hallow mirror thingies as extra frames around our large family picture. Dominic insisted that it wouldn't work. And guess what. They sure didn't. They all fell down the same day. So now I'll have to figure out something else to do to make our family picture that is finally up, actually look good lol. I have so many projects going on in my head. What elllllse ... I think that is about it for the update now. =)
