Habits.

Alright - now we're caught up and back to current day where penguin doesn't leave Kayden's side.

I love how she holds her little wing like this =).

(Even though she's throwing a fit because we took her suckie out to take a couple pictures.  That thing is not nearly as cute nor accepted into photo shoots, as penguin is.)

And one of her favorite activities lately - coloring.  We've had quite the time trying to teach her what is acceptable to color on.  (Yes, we've already had wall, couch, computer, books, and movie case incidents...)  In these pictures she's coloring on an old kohl's coupon ... we soon learned that it was not a good idea to give her 'whatever we don't need' to color on because that was apparently confusing ... so that has stops and we've moved onto coloring books, bought and home-made ;-).  But she's catching on...lol

She's super hard to get pictures of her doing something candid now.  She absolutely loves the camera and as soon as she see's it, much less hears the shutter click, she's already hopping up to say cheese:

But sometime's she'll still let me get a few, if I take a suffice number of her while saying cheese...

She always grabs any camera she finds (our little one is shock proof, whew.  and she's happy with the flip in it's hard case) and puts it up to her eyes and walks around saying cheeeeeeeeeese.  I've been trying to get a picture of that... but hopefully soon =).

She's getting SO big!  We took her to the Dr. last week and they said she's the size of a two year old!  (She won't be two for 5 more months!! =( .. which really is already to fast for me, but she's already the size of a two-year-old?!?!  Noooo ... too fast, too fast!!)  They said she's doing great, and so smart and friendly (duh, we already knew that ;-p).  I'm so proud of her, more and more every day.  She's started "reading" a LOT lately too.  She'll grab a book and just reeead and read, and Dominic and I just look at each other and smile.  Can't believe she's ours!  <3
