NM State Fair.

We got to go to the state fair, one of our first traditions that we got to put into place =).  We did a lot of things last year, that we talked about all year that we should do again, and the state fair is the start of the fun fall happenings in New Mexico.  It's also, the start of Kayden's "first" year, which would actually be her second year I suppose, but it is now when we can do things for the second time around.  I absolutely love the feeling of our own little family starting traditions.  I also think about how many things have changed, how Kayden was a sleepy blob last year when we were doing all these activities, and how now she is learning, and observing, and loving all of it.  It's so much fun to watch her grow and learn & I am so excited that we both get to watch her do just that!

The State Fair had a white lion, we got there a bit too late for the show, but he was cool to look at anyways.  Apparently to see a lion in your lifetime is good luck.  Yay!

But did Kayden want to look at the amazing lion?  No.  She'd rather look at puppies, that we see everyday.  Silly kid.

We also got to look at some gorgeous flowers that they have in one of their displays..

And enjoy some food.

We all enjoyed food! =)  That is one of the best parts.  They have such amazing food, that we have a hard time resisting getting one of each of.  We always make sure to get Indian Tacos, and Watermelen Juice .. and then always have to find a few things that look delish that 'we better get in case we don't make it back', which is a smart decision if you ask me, because we surely did not make it back before it left town.  Whew, good thing we got those fried Oreos! ;-p
