Oh little miss Kayden Elizabeth. You are adorable. For those who haven't met her, she's a cutie I must say. She is starting to pay more attention and smiles at us when we play with her. I've discovered that tickling her with my hair under her chin makes her smile and make an excited/fascinated face.
| Yeah-These ones. |
She held her rattle for the first time the other day, and played with daddy on her "activity mat" today. Dominic is very good about making sure she gets her tummy time, and she's starting to figure out all those limbs are good for movin n groovin. Dominic thinks she's close to crawling, but I'm thinkin it's a little early still. Her last check up was administrated by none other than mom n dad in the produce section of walmart =) ...the verdict? Already over nine pounds! We've been taking stroller rides around the neighborhood, to the park, and to walmart a lot lately, as well as finnnally finishing up those birth announcements! (They're on their way, soon, promise!) We're enjoying getting used to being at home. We can't wait until Dominic can get some time off again, but appreciate his hard work so we can fill our tum tums. Last night Kayden slept for almost eight hours, a new record! She had her first day of babysitting, the weekend before last at Grandpa Conn's house so we could go to a movie (Rated R-wahoo-real grown up time haha) and did great. She was sleeping when we got back, which made me feel like.. "whew!" haha! Then this past weekend was Grandpa Kitts' turn. He said she did great too, thank goodness! The dogs love her, and follow her where ever she goes! I'm so thankful they have been so good.
I'm sorry that this isn't the most eventful post, but its mostly so that I can record and remember my new role as mommy! =)
We love this Kayla. I showed it to Grandma today and bookmarked it for her so she can follow it too. Thanks for doing this :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kayla,
ReplyDeleteNoticed you had a blog and thought it might help me get to know you a little better. I think this is an amazing way of keeping track of your little girl as she grows up. Apparently you can actually print out your entire blog--pictures and all--into one of those blurb books.
I adore your little girls's name! And she's utterly *adorable*! I love kids, and always wonder if I'll someday regret not having any.
Thanks for sharing your life and your photos.
Jenny :)
